Rice Bran

Description

Rice bran is a by-product of the rice milling process. It can be fed as a powder, extruded nugget or pellet, in order to increase overall fat content of the feed. Rice bran contains a moderate amount of nonfiber carbohydrates (NFC), including starch. It must be balanced with alternate ingredients due to its high phosphorous content. Due to its high oil content, rice bran must be stabilized to reduce the potential for rancidification.
