- Cambendazole is used in horses for the control of large strongyles (Strongylus vulgaris, S. edentatus, S. equinus); small strongyles (Trichonema, Poteriostomum, Cylicobrachytus Craterostomum, Oesophagodontus); roundworms (Parascaris); pinworms (Oxyuris); and threadworms (Strongyloides).
