- Epinephrine is a positive inotrope, cardiovascular stimulant and bronchodilator. It is used for treating insect bite-induced anaphylaxis, insect bite poisoning, as well as drug-induced anaphylaxis, drug poisoning; b-blocker poisoning, Chloroquine, Vaccines, Fire Ants (Solenopsis), Africanized Bees or Honey Bees (Apis), Yellow Jackets (Vespula), Paper Wasp (Polistes), White Faced Hornets (Dolichovespula).
