Fluconazole

- Fluconazole is an antifungal drug used for skin infections and treatment of certain fungal infections including Cryptococcosis, Blastomycosis and Histoplasmosis in horses. Fluconazole is also effective against ringworm but usually used for more serious infections. Fluconazole has fewer side effects than other antifungal treatments.
Dosage: 14 mg/kg PO (loading dose), then 5 mg/kg PO q24h
