Dr. "Jack" Laurie Jackowiak is the owner of Alpena Veterinary Clinic. She was born and raised in Ossineke, MI. As a youngster she was active in 4-H, FFA, and NBHA which fueled her to become a veterinarian. She graduated from Michigan State University and more recently graduated with an animal chiropractic certificate from Options for Animals Chiropractic School. She opted to come back to Alpena to help her community and is striving to continue to provide great health care for small animals and expanding the quality of equine services available. She has set aside an area at her home to house sick horses.
